Greater Interaction with others and organisations

Greater Interaction with others and organisations

To have a greater interaction with others and organisations, social media sites such as Facebook and twitter offer an easy platform to interact with peers and employees within a business, the convenience of being able to send a message within 2 seconds to someone anywhere in the world has made it effortless to contact anyone you desire to.

  1. I agree with this, but I also think that interaction over the internet can be used as customer service, people can now access websites and ask representatives about problems or enquiries that they may have. Making problem solving easier, cheaper and quicker for the customer.

  2. You make a good point, and I think that emailing, is also a good way to increase interaction with others. Emails allow documents to be attached, which is essential for business work and for getting documents to and from co-workers. It also allows people to talk to one another, perhaps not easily and quickly, but extends interaction with friends and family.

  3. Interaction online do have negatives and positives, for example a positive is that people can communicate all around the world and get in to contact with new people this may help businesses. However the negatives are that people can abuse these so people need to be careful who they are talking to.

  4. These comments suggest that my point of greater interaction via social media sites is good as people are able to contact each other from all over, with the simple click of a button; however it allows some people to abuse the fact that they can talk to whoever they want to so other people should make sure they have special security measures in place to protect them from e.g. verbal abuse.
Emails are also becoming a more used function because links for/to businesses can be added into the email so they are more used by businesses and companies to contact their customers and employees as emails are traditionally a more formal way of communication.
